Hi JANE & MIKE
Thanks for making our stay with you so memorable,
enjoyable and relaxing. We all thought your cabinas and
the area, truly brilliant. Your hospitality and all the
various sight seeing trips you took us on made our
holiday one to remember. Our memories are not fading of
this holiday and we frequently find ourselves talking
about the experience and would recommend this to anyone
who wants a holiday with a difference .Hope to be back
to see you both in April.

What a wonderful place! We
came not knowing what to expect and sadly went away
having loved every minute of it, except it was too
short...!
There is fabulous walking and scenery
not only locally but a few miles up the valley at El
Chorro, both of which Mike took us walking around.
The birdlife was amazing - we saw Bee-eaters
within a few yards of the cabanas, plus eagles, vultures
and all sorts...
Pepe's, the bar at the bottom
of the road was great and very welcoming, and Mike and
Jane were the perfect hosts... and Mike's curries are
brilliant!

Dear Jane and Mike!
Our stay in your Cabaña is still alive in our
minds! We had a very nice
time there - the rooms
were big and we found all comfort needed! It was
a
romantic pleasure to experience the dusk in front of the
Cabaña under
olive trees and to watch the appearance
of the twinkling stars!
We found it very
friendly to find some stuff in the refrigerator with
our arrival and enjoyed your overall helpfulness!
Staying in your finca is a good choice for
climbing and hiking in El
Chorro and Valle del
Abdalajis.
Yours -
- Anne & Daniel

Dear Jane & Mike:
My husband and I were looking for a relaxing
break in the sunshine. We both enjoy walking, wild
flowers, wildlife etc. so we decided to visit Andalusia
After booking flights and car hire through the
internet, we decided to go self catering in a log cabin,
just outside Alora. We were very pleased with our home
in the mountains! The cabins were extremely well
equipped and pleasantly furnished, a very nice bathroom
with plenty of hot water supplied by solar panels, the
bedroom was air-conditioned, with lovely double doors
which opened onto a terrace which was separate from the
outdoor eating area. The cabins were well positioned to
allow privacy but with plenty of room for parking.
We were delighted with the area, lots of olive
trees surrounded our land. Jane has 5 horses and takes
people riding if you are so inclined. Mike has a good
knowledge and surrounds and is an excellent guide for
walks if required.
Mike and Jane have a small
pool, barbeque and bar area for the use of guests. Most
evenings we were happy to make our own evening meal
(i.e. barbeque). We found the local supermarket very
well stocked and reasonable – wonderful fresh fish, veg.
& bread etc, not to mention local wines, so, after
busy outdoor days, it was nice just to relax in an
evening.
All in all, our holiday was an
excellent alternative Spanish break – we certainly look
forward to going back again.
